Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 8, 2026

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how SonicEngine Technologies ("we", "us") collects and uses information when you use SonicEngine Pro at sonicenginepro.com (the "Service"). For privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@sonicenginepro.com.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information. Your email address and a hashed password, or - if you sign in with Google or GitHub - the email address your provider shares with us. We never see or store your provider password.
  • Content you submit. Audio and video files you upload, links you submit for processing, and the separated stems and remixed output the Service generates from them.
  • Usage information. Your subscription plan, monthly usage counts, job history (titles, statuses, settings such as stem volumes), and standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) generated when you use the Service.
  • Payment information. Paid plans are billed through a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card details.

3. How We Use Information

  • to operate the Service: process your content, produce and deliver your downloads;
  • to enforce plan quotas and upload limits;
  • to secure the Service and prevent abuse;
  • to provide support and respond to your requests;
  • to improve the Service's reliability and features.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded audio to train machine-learning models.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

The Service stores an authentication token in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in. This is essential to the Service's operation. We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure how the Service is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type) so we can improve it; this data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

We share data only with service providers needed to run the Service:

  • Google / GitHub - optional sign-in providers;
  • Amazon Web Services - cloud hosting and storage, where the Service and your content are processed;
  • Google Analytics - aggregated usage measurement (see Section 4);
  • Payment processor - subscription billing for paid plans.

6. Data Retention

Uploaded source files are staged temporarily and removed once processing completes. Generated stems and output files are retained on our servers so you can re-download them from your job history, and are periodically purged during routine storage cleanup; they are not kept indefinitely. Account information and job records are retained while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we will delete your account data and stored files within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. You can request earlier deletion of any stored file at support@sonicenginepro.com.

7. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@sonicenginepro.com. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you additionally have rights under the GDPR (including access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection); if you are a California resident, you have equivalent rights under the CCPA. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of selling.

8. Security

Traffic to the Service is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed, and access to production systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact support@sonicenginepro.com and we will delete it.

10. International Transfers

The Service is hosted in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service before they take effect, and the effective date above will be updated.
